The first time I came into contact with the topic of cryptocurrencies was in 2013/2014 when I was writing my thesis on payment methods on the Internet for my bachelor’s degree in business informatics. Although I had heard about Bitcoin a few years before, I was not yet enthusiastic about this topic at that time. 

This changed abruptly in 2014 when I dived deeper and deeper into the topic of financial messaging as part of my work as a project manager and became more and more interested in topics related to transaction- and online banking as well as e-commerce.

Since that moment I have been watching the crypto scene very closely and have been able to gather some experiences myself that I and my co-authors would like to share with you. 

Although I myself invest in crypto and we also share market data among other things on the site, this blog is purely about knowledge transfer. The focus is on building a knowledge base in connection with blog posts and product reviews. We do this because it makes us fun and not because we have to sell something or want to. We are also not professional financial advisors who advise you in investing your money.
