General Overview
The name Dapps comes from decentralized Applications. These are applications that run on a blockchain. As the name suggests, Dapps are held decentrally and are not managed and monitored by a central control authority. Smart contracts also play a key role in this. Decentralized applications can thus act completely autonomously and automatically.
